Communication and consultation skills, including taking a detailed clinical history and managing expectations
The principles of food trialling and how to utilise food serology testing
Basic skin and ear cytology and how this informs anti-microbial treatment and supports antibiotic stewardship
Overview of systemic and topical therapy, including improving epidermal barrier function
Allergy testing and immunotherapy and how this works as part of an overall treatment strategy
Ear flushing using common practice equipment, including demonstration of ear flushing and local anaesthesia
Integration of the veterinary nursing team in your dermatology consultations, diagnostic testing and treatment strategies
